Here comes another throwback song titled “Lonely” by the Senegalese-American singer, Akon.
The song titled “Lonely” (also known as “Mr. Lonely“) is a masterpiece by the Senegalese-American singer and rapper Akon; it appears on his debut album, Trouble.
Apparently, “Lonely” features a prominent, high-pitched sample of the 1964 song “Mr. Lonely” by Bobby Vinton.
However, the single was released on February 22, 2005, and was his first worldwide hit. It reached number one in several countries, including the United Kingdom and Germany (where it stayed there for eight weeks), and Australia.

Also, it became highly popular in France, where it reached number two, and in the United States, where it peaked at number four.
Meanwhile, there was an edited version which was on Radio Disney and on Radio Disney Jams, Vol. 8.
